Trans now transformed

Born in Switzerland in the body of a little girl thirty-six years ago, I lived as a man for a third of my life. Although bumpy, my path seemed to be laid out. A wonderful wife shared my daily life, and we spent a year in Canada volunteering for an organization we love.

After so many challenges, I was really fulfilled, and yet suddenly, this voice resounded in me: “If you trust me, I will restore you to your original identity.” In one week, our lives were turned upside-down. We began planning what we never imagined we’d do: divorce, and subsequently, I would dare to believe the promise of discovering my identity as a woman.

In today’s society, the story of a transgender person is no longer surprising. For Janick, this path was different. Through what she herself describes as a revelation, she received a whole new understanding of this life journey. This led her to a new, much deeper, and this time, final transformation. Beyond the theme of trans-identity, this story is a source of enrichment for anyone wishing to progress along the long and winding road of self-acceptance.
